DataEnvision U.S. 300 begins with a 300-company U.S. large-cap candidate pool. SEC operating-scale eligibility generally requires at least $500M in annual revenue. Financials and Real Estate use a sector-adjusted operating-scale test (revenue or annual assets) because generic revenue is not always comparable. SEC EDGAR does not publish market capitalization, so market-cap eligibility is maintained separately and is not a real-time market-cap census. Grades are DataEnvision calculations from company-reported SEC XBRL facts. They describe reported business fundamentals, not expected stock returns. Valuation and market-price momentum are deliberately excluded. Ticker links marked ↗ open Yahoo Finance, another website, in a new tab; company names open DataEnvision Fundamental Explorer.
Look for confirmation across trend, momentum and volume.
Start with price and the 50-day and 200-day moving averages: price holding above rising averages generally points to an established upward trend, while price below falling averages can indicate a downward trend. RSI measures momentum; readings above 70 are commonly described as overbought and below 30 as oversold, but neither level by itself predicts a reversal. MACD can help reveal changes in momentum: watch the MACD line versus its signal line and changes in the histogram. Volume adds confirmation — a breakout, reversal, RSI shift or MACD turn accompanied by unusually strong volume can carry more information than the same move on weak volume. Potential inflection points are best evaluated when several signals align rather than from any single indicator.
